I think it’s CRYSTAL clear. 💎

These have got to be the easiest and most yummiest candies I’ve ever made! To be honest it’s super easy and the hardest part is waiting for it to set.

Agar agar powder is a gelatin made from seaweed. It’s super cool because it’s a nice vegan alternative for that every day gelatin which is I think, made from animal. It is used in a lot of Asian cooking because of its versatility.

What I didn’t know was how easy it was to make used to make crystal candy! If you don’t like the lychee you can substitute it for any other extract or if you don’t add the extract it just taste like crystal rock candy. So it’s good either way.

As always here is the recipe below! Let me know how it goes! This was so much fun to make and I gave so many away to my friends and they loved it as well.

    1. Hi! Usually about 1 week or so before they get too hard to eat! 🙂
