My name is Jen Dao & I’m a foodie currently based in Orange County, CA!

Originally born & raised in a small town in Minnesota, I grew up with a lot of traditional Vietnamese food because of my parent’s home cooking.

full recipe 🔍 google “jenhdao cá kho tộ”

🧾 cá kho tộ
• 1.5 lb catfish
• 2 tbsp fish sauce
• 1 tbsp dark soy
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 1.5 tbsp sugar
• garlic, onion
• 1 cup water
• black pepper, chili (opt)

✨ directions:
1 marinate fish 15–30 min
2 sauté garlic + onion
3 sear fish both sides
4 add marinade + water, braise 20–30 min until glossy
5 finish with pepper + green onions
serve with rice

cà phê sương sá (coffee coconut jelly)

save this ✨

coffee layer
water, vietnamese coffee, agar agar, sugar

coconut layer
coconut milk, water, agar agar, sugar, condensed milk

how
cook coffee mixture until boiling
pour into pan, let slightly set
cook coconut mixture, cool slightly
pour on top
repeat layers
chill 1 hr, slice
