Ta-daa! Cookbook Launch & Pandan Banana Bread

It’s been such a surreal journey! If you didn’t know I’ve recently released my FIRST COOKBOOK!

Yesssss, your girl did it! I announced it last week on my Instagram and within 24 hours it SOLD OUT!!

I can’t even begin to describe how this feels. It took me almost a year working on the book day in and day out before and after my job and in between blogging, but I told myself that I would do it. That the only one stopping my dreams and goals is myself. So I worked on the recipes, took the photos, learn to edit them, film, edit tutorial videos, learned graphic design and finally created the whole book myself. From front page to back. Whew its been a journey.

But I’m glad we made it here. I will be having restocks on the book every now and then so definitely keep an eye out! Or if you can’t wait, the ebook is available here! It has all the recipes that are included in the paperback!

So I thought I’d do a fun series where I recreate all my recipes in my book! Starting with my all classic favorite, PANDAN BANANA Bread! I’m a sucker for a good banana bread, add a little coconut vanilla flavor? I’m always sold!

Also who doesn’t always have “old” brown bananas sitting around? *This girl here* I can’t seem to eat them fast enough in this household, so I’m always thinking of ways to incorporate them into recipes. Pandan is also something that’s common in Asian households and it’s used in many desserts, so when combined it leaves a nice rich loaf of vanilla coconutty goodness in your house. P.S. your house will smell so yum while it’s baking!

Here’s a video tutorial on how I recreated it using the recipes in my new cookbook: Ta-Daa! Recipes By: Jen Dao

Thank you again so much from the bottom of my heart for everyone’s support and love! It means the world and it helps keep me pushing to create yummy recipes to share with ya’ll!

Until next time!
