Today on the blog, I share my FAVORITE Com Sườn Nướng recipe to make in the airfryer! Translation: caramelized porkchops with hints of garlic and lemongrass yumminess!

Now onto the recipe! Com Sườn Nướng has always been apart of Vietnamese culture. You can find it at almost any Vietnamese restaurant or street stall in Vietnam. It usually consists of broken rice but I didn’t have time and to be honest I like the fluffiness of regular steamed rice. LOL! Unpopular opinion, I know!

But you also know me for keeping it simple and easy cause a girl is busting her butt at work errrrday! So I don’t always have time to create a luxury meal or anything that requires more than an hour. So in comes my wonderful AIRFRYER to the rescue! It’s quicker and the mess is way easier to clean (I like using parchment paper!). Plus you don’t always have to watch it.

Without further adieu, here’s the porkchop recipe!

Airfryer Com Sườn Nướng (& Airfryer Giveaway with CIARRA Appliances!)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs porkchops

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp fish sauce

  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce

  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 3 tbsp lemongrass (minced)

  • 2 tbsp veggie oil

  • Scallion oil: 3-4 green onions + 1/8 c veggie oil + pinch sugar

Directions

  • Marinate Porkchop with all ingredients (besides scallion oil) for 20 mins.
  • Chop your scallions. Heat up oil in med, add scallions and sugar.
  • Cook scallion oil for 2-3 mins then remove from heat.
  • Airfry porkchops ay 375 degrees for 14 mins. Flipping halfway.
  • Served with scallion oil on top of pork chops and with jasmine rice or veggies!
