I can’t be the only one obsessed with the latest Korean thriller show on Netflix. Everyone else in the world apparently thinks so too as it charted the top #1 spot in Netflix’s Top 10 shows/movies for weeks now!
It’s basically a thriller in modern day times where cash-trapped contestants join a series of six games to compete for a multi-million dollar cash prize. I’m talking like xx millions type. I did the math but forgot the exact amount, let’s just say it was more than enough.
One of the games they did was with this Dalgona candy that the contestants had to cut out the shape. After looking into it, I learned that it’s basically caramelized sugar with a bit of baking soda. So I definitely wanted to give it a try!
Oh my gosh this recipe was seriously SOOOO FINICKY! The ingredients itself is probably in your kitchen right now but the technique is everything! It took me literally 10 tries to get it right because I realized my cookie cutter was probably a lot bigger than the ones in Korean. So thus, forcing me to use more sugar to make enough to imprint the shape on. But once you get it together, it’s honestly super rewarding!
P.S. mine broke within a sec so omg I definitely got eliminated. LOL.
Here’s the recipe and video for ya!
Until next time!
