Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 4 cups water

  • 1/4 cup dried shrimp

  • 3 cups chopped cabbage (1/2 in slices)

  • 1 1/2 tsp fish sauce

  • 1 tbsp mushroom/chicken bouillon

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • salt + black pepper (to taste)

  • Shrimp Balls
  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 cup chopped shrimp

  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp fish sauce

  • 1/4 tsp mushroom/chicken bouillon

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients under shrimp balls together in a bowl.
  • In a pot, bring chicken stock and water to a boil. Slowly drop shrimp in by the spoonful. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the cabbage, fish sauce, mushroom/chicken bouillon, sugar, salt and pepper in to taste. Cook for 2 mins and serve with rice or as a side dish.
