Fo sizzle my izzle. 🔥
Bánh xèo is probably one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes! It’s popular in Vietnam especially Southern Vietnam for its crispy texture and plentiful proteins. It can be found at many local street vendors and restaurants in and outside of Vietnam.
If you don’t know Bánh xèo is a crispy savory crêpe. It’s a batter made of rice flour, turmeric, and coconut milk so it’s friendly for those that need specific diets or can’t have gluten. You can generally get creative on the fillings depending on what you like. The OG way is with pork belly and shrimp. I like mine with some squid too if you’re lucky!
Today we’re gonna to Bánh Xèo Boys in Stanton, California (located in @Rodeo39PM) to try the famous Bánh xèos! I am actually obsessed with them and how big their portions are! But don’t let me tell you how it is, here’s the video below of my trip to the restaurant! I definitely recommend!
Until next time!
