There’s nothing I love more than some good old fashion bacon. But we all know why that’s not too great for you or your Health. Introducing to you a healthier option like turkey bacon!

To be honest I have never had turkey bacon before until I tried Godshall’s turkey bacon. I have to tell you I was super hesitant because the proteins are so different, how can they taste the same? In fact, the turkey bacon taste even better!

I love how smoky these taste and they are made from premium US turkey! They come in a couple different packaging but for this recipe I used the turkey bacon dark meat (chopped and formed). Now I know most everyone uses bacon for breakfast. But I wanted to do something different and more fun! So I decided to make candied turkey bacon! Super easy and all you need is an oven!

As always the recipes below! Let me know what you think! Until next time.
