1 pound of thinly sliced beef
1 head of broccoli (florets)
3 garlic (minced)
2 tbsp veggie oil
1/4 c soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp corn starch
1/2 c chicken stock
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
salt + black pepper (to taste)
Directions
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, cornstarch, chicken stock, brown sugar and sesame oil in a bowl, this is your sauce.
- Heat a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add one tablespoon of vegetable oil.
Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until they release their fragrant aroma. - Add the beef to the pan. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it’s nicely browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Throw in the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they’re vibrant and slightly tender.
