My Family’s Quick and Easy Bánh Mì!

You’re the only Bánh for mì! 🥖

Today I am sharing with you my family‘s easy take on a classic Bánh mì. Growing up in the Midwest, Asian food wasn’t really accessible to us so we used what we could from the closest Asian grocery store (sometimes it was 40+ mins away).

Bánh mì wasn’t really common locally where I was from so for this recipe I used a baguette. If you can find Bánh mì bread locally…you lucky ducks. 😭

For the seasoning sauce we kept it super simple, it’s soy sauce and chili garlic paste. If you don’t have that, you can also just use soy sauce.

Some of the toppings that we used was pork meatloaf, fried chicken meatloaf, cucumbers, cilantro, do chua (Pickled daikon and carrots), jalapeños, pate and Japanese Mayo!

Let me know what you liked in yours!
