Limited Edition: UBE Bánh Xèo from Bánh Xèo Boys!

Let’s Xèo away together! No really though. Bánh Xèo is one of Vietnam’s most famous dishes and one of the few places that does it right is Bánh Xèo Boys. They’re located in the Rodeo39pm Food Hall in Stanton, CA. Go early though, cause this food hall gets packed quick.

If you’ve never had one before. Here’s the general idea, it’s a savory Vietnamese crepe. So nothing like the breakfast crepes that us Westerners grew up with. These are coconut and turmeric batter crepe filled with protein and veggies! Usually served with green leaf lettuce, mint, cilantro, cucumber, pickled carrots & daikon, fresh garlic, fresh Thai chili and house made “Nuoc Cham” Vietnamese dipping sauce.

I’ve made videos on them before but it gets tricky making them in an apt in OC. One, you need a solid amount of oil and heat and it can sometimes make a mess when cooking cause the oil goes everywhere.

Anyways when I got a chance to take a sneak peek at some Behind the Scenes of the new UBE Bánh Xèo from Bánh Xèo Boys, I was all down for it. Take a look below at my experience in their kitchen and let me know your thoughts on it!

P.S. they also have a new drink called the Strawberry Horchata and it’s completely VEGAN! For those that love strawberry milk, this ones for you!

Until Next Time!
