My name is Jen Dao & I’m a foodie currently based in Orange County, CA!

Originally born & raised in a small town in Minnesota, I grew up with a lot of traditional Vietnamese food because of my parent’s home cooking. 

Today, I’m sharing my unique twist on modern Vietnamese and American cooking through socials.

½ cup full-fat coconut milk
¼ cup warm water 
1¼ tsp instant yeast
1 tbsp fresh pandan juice
½ tsp pandan extract
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg 
⅛ tsp salt
Neutral oil

Ingredients

Base Jelly:
	•	1 pack (10g) agar agar powder
	•	4 cups (960ml) water
	•	¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar

Pandan Layer:
	•	½ batch of base jelly
	•	½ cup (120ml) fresh pandan juice 
	•	¼ tsp pandan extract 
	•	½ tsp vanilla extract

Coconut Layer:
	•	½ batch of base jelly
	•	1 cup (240ml) full-fat canned coconut milk
	•	Pinch of salt
	•	½ tsp vanilla extract

    •    4 oz cream cheese (½ block), softened
    •    2 tbsp powdered sugar (adjust to taste)

Broken rice never broke me. 🍚✨ Cơm Tấm Thuận Kiều gave me 10 toppings and zero complaints...except the pandan soy milk, that’s a no for me dawg. 🙂‍↔️
